No problem.........this is a popular combo and quite a few of the forum players already have them.

Yes! I had the MM set and loved the bridge but didn't care for the neck. IT was too bassy and too high output for a neck pickup IMO.

Anyway when I ordered the set, the CS wasn't out yet. I told Tim I was looking for a neck replacement and I just put a new CS neck in my Gibson LP Studio (mahogany neck and body, ebony neck, and maple cap) and it totally did the trick. Awesome cleans, great classic blues tones and sounds awesome with high gain.

I started to lose faith in Gibson guitars because they all sound like cr@p with stock pickups...BKP have breathed new life into both my LPs and I'm looking at a '61 reissue SG to put a CS bridge with an MQ neck.

Matter of fact, all guitars that I own from this point will have BKP.

Damn right!

I have an Ibanez S-Classic MIJ model that I really dig...except for the two EMG 81's in it. I'm thinking possibly a pair of uncovered nailbombs with four conductor wiring.
