Title: Anyone else having problems with Itunes 7?
Post by: _tom_ on September 20, 2006, 08:29:20 PM
Installed it the other day and I've been having problems with playback. At random times it decides to make the song all fuzzy/distorted and choppy. Any ideas why and any way to fix it?

If not, would you recommend using that plugin that lets you update your ipod via winamp? http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=138888

Cheers

Check out media monkey it's pretty good (my laptop is dead so I have no links atm and I'm too tired to search it out).

I've read that having various random third-party plugins installed can affect the sound for iTunes 7, at least on Windows -- but I've got iT7 on a Mac without any add-ons and haven't had trouble.  That said, the general consensus seems to be that Apple goofed up by releasing a buggy iT7 and rumour has it that a patch/fix release is being cooked up quickly to sooth the riled up masses ....

Oh right, sounds good to me. I've been using winamp now and I have to say I prefer it, hopefully the plugin I just installed will update my ipod easily though, its got some mixed reviews when being used with newer versions of winamp.
