Post by: Neemo on September 29, 2006, 12:51:09 PM: You might've seen my post in the gear section, so now that I have my rack at home I thought I should record something. No eq'ing or compressor, just the raw sound to give a realistic image of the sound.

this is so far the nearest tone to MoP tone I've heard!
there was also some Metallica stuff on the lead clip but damn... didnt pop out into my mind what it was
and after that, was is CoB? cuz it sounded very similiar

i liked more the lead clips. the rhythm riffage doesn´t have enugh distortion for my tastes :twisted:

good choices. Your setup sounds awesome. When I get my razorback and fit it with Warpigs i've ordered I'll try and record something.

I have to ask, where the hell did you get that? I can't find any ESP that shape, except the Alexi Laiho sigs...(but even those have only one pickup. Is it a custom made model on your request?

cab was miked with an Audix i5, no post processing.

Post by: Neemo on October 13, 2006, 12:44:33 PM: The playability is excellent, but you have to get used to the neck first. It's not a toothpick like RG nor a log like a gibson 50's. Very unique but in a good way. What can I say, it's my number 1 guitar and will be for a long time :)
