Note: I dont particulalrly like the Darkness, nor did I learn the last solo properly, I just decided to record it as I left some constructive criticism on some guys (really bad) version of it on youtube yet he didnt take it too well and sent me bitchy messages telling me "I'd like to see you try and play it as well as that" etc.. well he asked for it :lol:

Post by: _tom_ on October 07, 2006, 05:20:42 PM: Was the HRDx overdrive channel with low gain, with keeley rat in front with the gain on about 10 o'clock and volume just past 3 o'clock. Volume on the amp was about 3 with hotplate on -12.

Anyway, whenever I manage to get the Laney, I think I'm gonna get an A/B box so in my practise room I can use the Fender for cleans and Laney for everything else :twisted: Cant wait.

I admire his guts but it would have been a whole lot better if he'd have tuned up-The singing and playing bit was ok but he should have used a backingtrack. Credit to him for trying though. Yours was way better though-had more poise.

I have to say that I am no longer depressed about my own playing after seeing the clip you where responding to. However I also have some taste regarding tone and tuning.

I however did love original guys solo (no I didn't)
