Hey guys.

So............. It's that time of year again  :D

Who's going to Music Live this year? and if so, on what day?

I'll be going on Sunday 5th November, in the hope of trying to snag a bargain      :D

Turns out I'm not going now either

My mate can't/won't give me a lift because the other guy he's taking is buying a new bass, and he's buying an amp, so there's no room for me in the car! #!$%#';£

That's really harsh - why does the other guy get priority over you? 'cause he's buying a bass? Tell him you'll buy 3 guitars and pay for his amp and see if he takes you then (and then you say "oh bugger, left my wallet at home") :drink:

I would go, as I wanted to try out some new Bareknuckles.. but dad wont let me drive my car on motorways coz its hardly got any power in it, and is small so he says its too dangerous   Kinda agree with him though, it struggles to get past 70  :(

Dont really fancy getting the train either.

I'd be well upfor this, as Nottingham train station is nothing more thana  30min bus trip from where I live. I have a gig the saturday night though, so can't risk not being back intime for that.

If you was going from nottingham on the Sunday, then i'd meet ya at the Train Station  :D

Well it is, but its got no extra power should I need to quickly move for whatever reason.. lorry drivers changing lanes without looking properly seems to be a problem.

And as my dad says, 70 is only a guideline for the motorway

^ yeah, the cops rarely if ever enforce the speed limit on motorways (unless you were doing like 120...)

What's wrong with 120  (drives on an American licence 8)  )? Though I was once stopped for doing 135 on the M1.  This was a long time ago when I used to have a nice car in the UK (Datsun 280 ZX).

I won't make it to Music Live this year, but I should be at LGS next year.

years ago the gardai down in the good old south of ireland stopped me doing about 120.  i sat there expecting hell, he says, "you know, you shouldn't be going that speed at night."   :P

daytime's fine, work away!

(wouldn't happen now, you'd be fukkked)

Thats easy just drive there via Ireland, and a short ferry ride from there.

If you doubt me just ask anybody in Boston, they all know that Ireland is a small island just off the Eastern US seaboard :)

Rob...

Actually GW Bush thinks the UK is a small island just off the US West Coast (theres a bridge & everything) ;)
