Title: Aide Memoire...
Post by: headtheball on October 12, 2006, 10:59:09 PM
Ok, this may not be strictly on topic, but here goes...

Can anyone remember a company that made a solid, all one piece (bar the fretboard) guitar from Australian Lacewood. I know it was about 8 years ago, and created a bit of a stir.
It was kind of a stratty shape, and I think it was H-H configuration.

I remember a guitarist (uk) review for it, but I'll be buggered if I know what it was called. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have one of those minds. If I can't remember something it'll niggle me all night...

I've just nearly done myself an injury dragging old issues of Guitarist down from high shelves, but I believe it was the Schecter CS-1.

Described by Martyn Booth as "the pinnacle of Schecter's 21 years in the guitar business" and "a bargain" at £1,995!

(Guitarist Dec 98, by the way.  Well remembered!)
