Post by: FELINEGUITARS on October 20, 2006, 02:23:18 PM
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130038964856&ru=http://search.ebay.com:80/130038964856_W0QQfromZR40QQfviZ1

I think I may have seen similar before but it just cracked me up and made my morning.

Worth reading just for the humour

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS- for some reason my ebay account is temporarily suspended
Don't know why - ebay seem to have gotten their knickers in a twist over an account i set up for my ex-girlfriend a couple of years ago-

So in the meantime if you are wanting any feline strings or t-shirts etc PM me - I can still take payment by paypal or by credit card, while waiting for them to sort it all out

The advert belongs to my mate Nick who was helping out at the LGS

What is up with the spelling
Just spell checked it and no errors showed

You aren't mistaking the american 'specialty' with the english 'speciality' are you?

^ just to point out, that's the LEG length, degoey.

but wow. great advert. you really have to wonder how badly he wants to sell them, or whether he just wants to get a cheap laugh on a forum...

I know it's the leg length! I'm not 34 inches tall :P

But you understood what I meant, so it doesn't matter does it :drink:

I would look rediculous in those trousers. I'm sized 33 36.

Am I tall or is Nick short?

Priceless advertisment, though.

I'd love that U-boat. it would scare the shite out of all them fancy boat people. Even without torpedoes, you could go captain Nemo on them. And no bridge toll.

At last I can get revenge for all those hours I've been waiting for open bridges.

Whoo Hoo
Ebay has got my account back up but I'm gonna have to find the time to reopen my ebay shop and relist all the items
What a chore
I have written to them and asked if they can reinstate my stuff without me having to waste hours doing it

But thank goodness it's back
Ebay can be useful at times , even though it is also a mixed blessing

The tone is fine (it is the bare knuckle site after all), it's just the level of taste in the conversation ;)
