Title: TIM-Can You Put a 'BKP' logo on the Open-Coil Models?
Post by: JTM45 on April 07, 2005, 11:24:25 PM
Hi Tim.

This is a purely cosmetic thing but can you put the 'BareKnuckle Pickups' logo on one of the bobbin face-plates, like they do with Seymour Duncan pickups ?

As far as I can see the logos on your covered pickups are etched into the metal (i think?). I'm not really sure how they do it at Seymour Duncan but I suppose it's probably silk-screened onto the black face-plate in white ink/paint before the pickups are assembled.

It would be a nice option to offer if it was possible without too much hassle, just so we could 'fly the flag' for BKP.

the metal covers are laser etched which won't work on the bobbins-they'll melt!!
I'll look into it.

If you do can you make blank covers optional - I like the clean asthetic of blank covers myself.

Cheers

We offer all our covers in plain finish, the etched ones are a no cost option for those who like it.
