Now I'm going down the Thai theme pub for an 'Automatic Duck' in a bap, with big fat chips and loads of Guinness.

Us 40 somethings know a thing or two about stamina!  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

:lol:  if i'd been working the hours you've done today i would be with a beer right now then just fall asleep and not wake till tomorrow afternoon  :lol:

It's even worse when you hit 24 hours in one shift

I used to sleep like that Steve. I've only had 6 hours and I'm up already, guitar in hand running through some some stuff!!

I had to drive this huge Iveco truck up to Nothampton 1st and it had an Automatic gear box. I didn't know you could get auto lorrys! I had to spin it round when i got up there as a shot past my turning and i couldn't even work out how to get this thing in to reverse!  :lol: The dash board is like looking at a PC screen and it makes all kinds of noises to let you know it's doing something. Talk about O.T.T! Anyway then i drove it to a bonded warehouse near Heathrow and handballed 461 boxes of mens boots into the back. Well it makes a change from pulling over loaded skips out between two expensive cars with a load of irate school run mums giving me GBH to the earhole and getting in the way!!  :lol:

Try drivin a M.A.N their really wierd. you can turn it to full auto and it'll choose either to use brake, retarder or jake brake for you to maintain speed down hill.

They give you no warning when up shifting so you really feall like a passenger in your own drivers seat.

Its really strange. Not like the 'ol double-de-clutch. :lol:

It takes the skill out of the job. They will drive themselves soon enough and we will be taking over by I Robots!  :lol: It's another gadget to go wrong really. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Now massaging seats I could handle, with a console beer cooler and maybe a 'quickie' attachment ;)

But rear view camera's, don't come anywhere NEAR my rear with a camera, perv.  :lol:
