I'm absolutely definate on getting the VHII for the bridge, but something just didn't sit right with the Mother's Milk for the mid/neck. Well, contemplating this, I've finally found the specific sound that I'm after for the mid/neck pups, but not sure which BKP's will do the job.
So, does anyone know what mid/neck pups will get me close to Steve Vai's (Ibanez) sound out of a Strat (still utilizing the VHII in the bridge)? I'll even go humbucker in the mid/neck position(s) IF that is what's required!
VH / Vai - that's the sound that I've been looking for!

How about a bridge/neck VHII and a single coil middle? I think a VHII/Slowhand/VHII would sound great!
