Title: Valve amp repair in/near Manchester?

My Laney Klipp is buzzing like a bar steward  :(  so I need to get it looked at.  Does anyone know a decent repairer in the North West or am I going to have to go to one via my expensive local music shop?  They contract out to a guy in Liverpool(!) so if I can go direct to one a bit closer to home I can save a few quid...

I believe laney still service their old amps so if you're going to get it sent away maybe a Laney dealer can point you in the right direction.
