Title: FAO: Muttley - TC Electronics
Post by: willo on November 08, 2006, 12:41:05 PM
(and everyone else of course ;) )

I saw in another thread you had a TC Electronics G Major. I've found the TC Electronics Vintage Delay at a reasonable-ish price (comparable to the Line 6 DL4), I was wondering how you have found the delays on the G Major? Obviously, if anyone's played the Vintage Delay, that'd be helpful too.

I'm really in the market for a good delay, but what with the Deluxe Memory Man being discontinued, the choice isn't that great :(

I love my Vintage Delay, its $%&#ing awesome. Very clear and real sounding. The Vintage button is a nice feature too, modelling the sound of true tape echos. Also the tape tempo and ability to give louder Feedback than the original sound. Nice for fake swells and lovely background noise.

Hope it helps

The Memory Lane by Diamond looks very attractive. Warm analogue delay with modulation controls, plus real real time of various settings and more custom mods athan you can shake a stick at. I think it's going to have to replace the DL4 as my to-get delay pedal :)
