Title: CRAWLERS V REBEL YELLS!!! .......YOU DECIDE!!!!!!!!!

Heres the delema...after much deleberation over advice i have been given ive narowed it down to these two awsome pickups!!!! but which one in my guitar....(a prs tremonti se with a mahoganny body and stoptail wrap around bridge) would do elegant clean tones, dirty blues rhythm but also deliever classic rock grit the best?!!!!!!!! plz help me out guys!!!!!

lol i have no idea tbh mate but the thread title made me laugh... never before have i known someone make after-market pickups sound like big brother or x factor.

nice one lol :lol:

but seriously, i would actually say rebel yells mate.

however, i haven't played either... this is just info i've gathered from other people and Tim e.t.c......

After playing the Rebel Yells I'm convinced that they are THE ULTIMATE ROCK PICKUP.

Hunters clips sort of pointed me in that direction too (ooooh I wish christmas would hurry up)

Though for more blues based stuff I would tend to verge towards Crawlers or something from the Mule family (my poor attempt at trying to stay vaguely on topic)

I'll have to say Rebel Yell because that's what I have, but from what I've read the Crawlers might be better for "classic" rock if you mean 70s-type stuff.

As I understand it, they're similar output but the RY is a bit brighter and punchier, more in-your-face.  More 80s than 70s, perhaps.

I don't think you'll go far wrong with either.  I definitely plan on putting a set of Crawlers in one of my guitars eventually.

I voted for RYs but haven't really heard many crawler clips. I think it was just Steve Stevens clip that sold me on RYs!

Rebel Yells.... because from what I hear, the Crawlers may have too much bass in solid mahogany.

And the Rebel Yells just rock!
