What is the cheapest, but good sounding delay pedal, and i'm not thinking like a Boss DD3, i want it at like half the price or something if possible.
-
Dano PB&J is cheap and its slap back function gives it versatility
-
Ahh yes i just remembered Danelectro are amazingly cheap, and clips sound good too. Cheers man!

have a look on ebay, you'll get a used Boss Digital Delay for £50.
I personally like analogue delays myself as I feel they have more character - if you can push the budget, get yourself an EH Memory Man.
of the newer pedals I've heard, the Line6 Echo Park was fantastic.

Dano's are good. Lots of caracter. They do tend to suck a bit of tone.
I'm going for a Keeley AD9 soon.
-
A bit more expensive than you'd like, but the Guyatone MD-3 gets major kudos even from people who are into boutique stuff. It's a bit cheaper than the Boss DD-3.

Yes, I enjoy using my Danelectro 'Reel Echo', especially for slapback effects. It sounds more natural than the delay options on my Boss RV3 delay/reverb pedal. I like the look of it too, like an old tape echo - minus the actual tape.
:D

Another option is to buy a cheap multi-fx like the Zoom G2. 5 seconds of delay time at 96KHz sampling rate, plus a host of other goodies, and you can get it for a lot less than most delay pedals (£53 at iMuso.co.uk).

Don't want/need multi effects thing.
-
^but i swear you just started a whole thread about multi-effects units? lol
-
Yeah that was like a week ago, i changed my mind

these are Boss knock offs, albeit with a plastic case. I've got the TU2 tuner clone, stupid value at £15.
