Have you tried the search function? I'm pretty sure that this has been covered quite recently.

Miracle Man I believe is quite close to the EMG 81.

Bridge =Cermaic Warpig
Neck = Alnico V Warpig or Nailbomb

Ceramic Warpig is a montser, probably the heaviest pup BKP makes. It would be better for the AJFA tone but you could do the MOP tone with them as well. Metallica was known for going with the heaviest pickups of the time (EMG's) so why should you be any different ;)

Nailbomb neck I've heard many clips of it here and I like because its powerful (mate well with the warpig bridge) yet it still has good cleans. Not that there is a lot of clean on either of those albums but hey it's nice to have. Hope this helps.

mmmm...

is the ceramic warpig and alnico warpig good for shredding?

I'm used to the "cold sweat" on the neck for shredding.

would the alnico warpig give me that and give me some nice cleans too?

me looking for= HEAVY riffing on the bridge, incredible shredding ability on the neck and giving you some nice cleans  :D

Both Warpigs would be good for shredding. The Ceramic WP giving you  tighter bass, smoother mids, and upper mid range. Alnico WP will give you a more organic, less compressed sound with balanced bass, lots of mids and lower midrange.

Lots of people use the Cold Sweat for neck pickup shredding, I'd email Tim to see just how different the CS neck would be from a Nailbomb though.

Youve got to back it right off for cleans on the clean channel of a valve amp: it cant help but make a full crunch.

But when it is clean, its more than passable. Especially for such a ridiculous pickup.

Parrallel clean isnt amazing but its a definate capital G Good.

Split clean is great. Full body and glassy: overdriven split still gives a passable metal rhythm tone!

The NB, from the specs and clips, really isnt in the same league as the C-WP.

The standard MM I had had a very noticable amount less gain than the WP, and the C-WP has more than the WP, and the NB has less than the MM. It follows that the NB doesnt really compete in power with the C-WP.

it may give the illustion of it, though, by having more mid push. The human ear responds most in midrange, so I imagine in person the NB is a very loud, full sounding pickup. Same with the painkiller. Nither are that powerfull on paper, but by all account both breath fire.

The tone on MOP is too loose for the ceramic warpig probably. I would get a standard warpig for MOP tone.

the guitar tone on Puppets and Justice doesn't have that much bass or low-mids imo so a Warpig would not be a very good choice.

Miracle Man would be perfect - mine is BANG on for that type of tone.

The 25k 'super' MM sounds very interesting indeed - wonder how different it sounds to the regular one.
