Hi guys,
I have a 2203 JCM 800 reissue. Love it. I notice with the FX loop button engaged the sound thins out. Would a looper pedal solve this problem?
Is thinness caused by pedals in loop or just by engaging button?
If caused by pedals rack type FX unit could help right?
thanks

plug a patch lead between the send and return jacks then engage the effects loop. if you notice a difference with just the patch lead between the send and return then it's gotta be the shitety effects loop that Marshall have put in the amp.

Turns out it is the pedals thinning it out. I know loop pedal would skip the FX when not used like you said. But sometimes I use reverb for rhythms so FX needed. Would a FX rack processor do less tone robbing on the bottom end?
Just need good delay and reverb options no tone loss. G-Sharp? Xpression?
