Title: the exact source of the "Nailbomb" name origin

I searched on the forum... and can't find exactly where did the BKP team came up with the name "Nailbomb".

I understand that cold sweat is a thin lizzy song and miracle man a ozzy song and warpig from Iommi of black sabbath and etc.

but Nailbomb???


it would be nice if someone posted exact details  :D

I would love to listen to a song or band called Nailbomb

There is a band called Nailbomb :)

Yep, Nailbomb was a side-project featuring Max Cavalera from Sepultura and Alex Newport from Fudge Tunnel.

Tim commented on this recently. Here (http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4462) is what I found in the search function, but I think there's another comment from him buried somewhere in here...

Yes, the Max Cavalera/Alex Newport side project is the obvious inspiration (though if you listen to the "Point Blank" CD you'll hear all sorts of sounds as they threw it together in a very short time using any old gear :))

However, as has been stated before, the naming of most pickups is more a statement of attitude & intent (or "vibe") rather than an attempt to ape the exact tone used on a given track.
