im getting my MM bridge shortly and im not 100% sure on the way i should wire it up.(its 4 conductor)
ive got a standard H/H gibson type guitar with 2 volume and 1 tone the switching goes humbucker out of phase and split then humbucker
i can solder fine but im not all that good with electronics, i was thinking of just removeing the wires attached to my old bridge and solder on the new cables from the MM exavtly the same....any reasons this wouldent work?
if my volume and tone pots arent the best would replaceing them make much sound difference? instead of replaceing them all would it be easier to wire up so that my only controls are 1 volume and switching cuas i dont really need tone or a 2nd volume.
