Title: Screws for the SRV countersink?
Post by: Antag on December 20, 2006, 08:05:49 AM
Bit of an obscure question :) but here goes:

Does anyone know if the countersunk single coil & blade screws for SRV strats come in more than one length?

I got the SRV countersink option for the pickguard on my Warmoth korina strat.  It looks fantastic, but the screws aren't really long enough for the middle single coil pickup - I like to wind it quite low so it doesn't get in the way, but can't because it drops off the end of the screw on mine.

Look at the pics on the Warmoth (http://www.warmoth.com/hardware/parts/parts.cfm?fuseaction=include_screws) page - the countersink screws (S13-S15) are clearly shorter than the standard ones (S10-S12).

The ones Allparts stock seem to be longer (1-1/4", it says):
