Your link doesn't work for me :( Might be my ancient computer though.
-
It should work now! i hope!
-
That sounds pretty cool!
-
I like it better than the second clip which has some FX etc ...
-
You are god! I done the same thing to my Laney and it sounds tighter and clearer. I never! would of thought of doing that
-
That tone is actually perfect, I love it :D
-
Sounds great! I'll have to try that with my Koch next time i have it on!
-
Michael Schenker does that with his 225 JCM 800
gain 9.5
Bass :9
Mid : 5-6
Treble 0-1
Pres : 7-8

That sounds totally killer. Well done!! I really need a Splawn.
Edit: What tubes do you have in that beast?
-
Sounds mighty fine. I do love the splawn tone- great playing too.
-
that ruled, great playing. that's a heck of a lot of treble with the treble at 0, though...
i guess I run my engl a bit like that, not just as drastic, though- bass and mid at 9, treble about 3-4, presence around 4.5.
:drink:

Oooh, that tone hurts! In a good way.
-
That is an amazing tone!
-
Great tone - it's a similar to approach to how I set up my Laney Klipp.
What speakers/cab was that through???
-
Thanks guys, glad you liked the clip :D

That sounds shite hot... mental note, steal that idea. :D
-
i tried that idea last night, and i like it alot.
probably won't use it all the time, but it does remove very top-endy harsh sounding treble and replaces it with a shimmery one.
thanks for the tip
