I woke up this morning and fancied learning a bit of thrash, so I decided to learn and record (part of) Coma of Souls by Kreator :twisted: I love this song and the riffs, although I havent got that far yet as I've only been learning it from about 9-10 this morning :)
Its a bridge mule in my Epi LP Custom, into V-Amp 2 on the engl savage patch, double tracked in Cubasis. Probably my heaviest recording so far, double tracking is great! Sorry for the backing, its all I could find and is courtesy of guitar pro's cr@p midi sounds!
Now I really want another guitar to put some Nailbombs or some other metal BK in for this kinda music though :D
Cheers

Kreator = Quality
Your clip = Quality
Enough said.

They can do anything, I think Tim uses em in Ozzmosis, so that says it all really :P Although I guess a more aggressive, hot pickup would probably be more suited to this kinda stuff, it sounds great anyway I reckon. I guess as Davey says the metal comes from the player, not the pickup!
Cheers Joe :D

Wow that is a perfect old school thrash tone right there!!!!!

if theres one player who advertises the quality and verstaility of the mule the most - its you tom! cool clip :)

Nice! Coma Of Souls is one of my favourite Kreator songs ever. I'm surprised by the tone of the mules. I thought they were alot more tame than that.

Thanks :D
Yeah Steve its definitely one of my favourites aswell, the only one I think I prefer is a live version of Under the Guillotene which J.p/WFD sent me on msn ages ago! I find that with the Mules, they have a good even clear tone for pretty much anything, then it depends more on the bits after the guitar to get the different types of sound.
Also, I've just found a metal band in need of a new guitarist so if they choose to audition me and like it then I'll be using the Mules for metal much more often :twisted:
