Title: What are your favourite Xmas films?
Post by: gingataff on December 24, 2006, 03:35:35 AM
I'm an 80s kid so for me it's got to be Scrooged, Gremlins and, my number one, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (I watched it last night :D )

Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jingle All The Way (with Schwarzenegger) has the best soundtrack.

My favourite Christmas films would be Scrooged (Bill Murray is great in it), The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

I also love both Gremlins films, but didn't know if they were classed as christmas films or not though

I watched Santa Claus The Movie last night, it's really 80s and cheesy but nowhere near as bad as I remember it. Christopher Ryan from The Young Ones was in it too, even though he didn't say a word.

I regret to say that if I know in advance that the film is about Christamas then I would probably not watch it. I am, I realise, a miserable sod.

Santa Clause with Dudley Moore is a classic, it's my favourite. Especially the bit when the bad guy says 'It's candy cane time kids' it cracks me up every time lol
