What is the DC reading thing? ()
Does it do good cleans? (Metallica interlude kinda things)
And good metallica like leads?

Not real clean cleans as its output is rather high

Think that it is similar to the neck EMG85 in a Zakk Wylde set - so its a raunchy lil bugger
great for fat LP type solos but a bit more limited clean - hence people preferring the Cold Sweat neck
Hetfield has an EMG60 in the neck - a bit similar to a Gibson mini humbucker - so not high output- Cold Sweat, Riff Raff or Stormy Monday territory

I thought Zakk Wylde uses the 85 in the bridge and the 81 in the neck...

Do you know the output for the EMG 60, or an approximate number so i can know what to look for.

Edit: Originally i was going for a Cold Sweat and i know it is the best option so maybe i'll just spend the extra cash and get both.

Edit 2: I'm actually quite taken by the VHII Neck aswel...
