I really really hope you are joking!
-
if i was koking i'd say - a man walks into a bar...
i really like it! :(
-
Looks like a Danelectro Longhorn gone wrong.
-
the bass version is actually nice, don't really like the guitar, except for the green one which looks pretty cool
not my cup of tea tbh :P
-
its a banjo with a tapeworm.
-
I think I could kill someobody with that guitar.
-
i think they're beautiful things, and i'd love to be able to afford one.
at least it's not just another les paul or strat-a-like. and the construction is genuinely innovative. of course, the problem with innovation is it cost a bloody fortune to do!
-
They're cr@p.

pfft ben, this is a real mans guitar!!

Ah, you gotta love the old Kramers.
Gus guitars are interesting, sure, but they're just that little bit too futuristic for my tastes. A lot of guitar players are quite conservative as far as body styles goes. I know I'm only just getting used to the Parker Fly! :)

That's a good one, too!

it's just SOOO too much plastered all over guitarist forums, that it's not even funny anymore.
-
I've posted about this before, but imo you can't get much better looking than this (http://dozin.com/jers/guitars/tiger/info.html).

wow, the back of that guitar is GORGEOUS!!!
I'd like it more as a 2 pickup version tho, but amazing looking guitar :!:
-
Weird, I cant stand all those elaborate looking guitars, I'd much rather have something like this:

I couldn't agree more, god only knows what BKP's you'd wanna stick in that choice of woods tho!

By the same token tho, I could never really get into the looks of superstrats. I've owned a couple over the years, they both sounded nice and we're very comfortable to play but pretty much every one i've seen just looks kinda uninspiring to me.

:o :o !! I think they look awesome on maple. Different at least.
Fair enough Fubar, I agree they dont exactly look flashy but I've always preferred a simple, usable design to an expensive work of art, at least with guitars.

I love this graphic

the nebula graphic is awesome!!!
almost ordered the DK1 w/ that graphic, but talked myself out of it, cos if i buy another superstrat, it HAS to have a reverse headstock

I'd agree with that, i'm a huge fan of most of the classic guitar designs, is on of the reasons I own mostly tele's and strats. In some way, aesthetically most superstrats look like a classic design that's been watered down. Kinda like a "Tesco Value" guitar design. Slightly generic and uninteresting. I feel it's one of the reasons so many people go for OTT colourschemes and paint jobs on them (even if this does sound slightly hypocritical coming from someone in love with mr. garcia's guitar! ), it's an attempt to make up for something lacking in the overall design. Is all just my opinion, of course. Am guessing a great many people disagree with me given the huge amount of them that have sold over the last 20-odd years!

Why the preference for reverse headstocks? :)

umm... cos they're the coolest you can ever have on a superstrat..

 Fair enough! Can't say i've ever used a guitar with one, they could be more functional than standard i spose!
-
the functionality is pretty much the same... apart of the fact that you can impale a dumb band member with the reverse headstock at will.
it just looks WAY cooler
