JP, you want a Warpig.
-
what i´m not sure is, if the warpig has good Highs too, and are not a similar version of the "In*****" eheheheh and, which one is more tight on bass, Warpig or Miracle man?!

The Warpig is nothing like the pickup you mentioned. Different wire and magnet. The warpig has an alnico V mag, compared to a ceramic with two flanking magnets which really distorts the magnetic field of a pickup. I you like the Warpig but want the tight bottom end of the Miracle man ask for a Warpig with a ceramic magnet.

Huuuuum, Good Idea steve
is that possible A The Mule pickup with More Output?
-
If you like the sound of the mule but want more output, checkout the VHII or Crawler humbuckers.
-
Huuuuuum, INteresting.

I wouldn't use the Crawler for metal. It's more of a bluesrock pickup. VHII could do it but you will need a high gain amp like a Mesa.
I've listened to what WFD plays. A ceramic Warpig would be perfect I think. It would probably be a pickup with huge super tight bass and screaming cutting highs. It would make an 18 volt EMG81 wet it it's pants!
Am I right Steve, Tim?
-
I agree that the crawler and VHII couldn’t do what he wants, I was just letting him know what a hotter mule kind of tone would be.
I’ve heard a ceramic warpig before, its one hell of a metal pickup. My brother plays grind core/black/death metal and he's got one, its mind numbingly heavy.

i recorded it with a brazilian stratocaster (marupá body, pau marfim neck, jacaranda da bahia fretboard) and a bill lawrence l500 xl in the bridge(not bill and becky) and a dimarzio class of 55 for some parts of the solo, including the last sweep)

What would the cermaic pickup change in the warpig? More output, dirtier cleans? Same chug, but with better leads?
Sounds interesting

You'll get a tighter bass, smoother mids..........we've made them before and customers have always liked them.

Tim, something I have been meaning to ask and possibly a stupid question but are ceramic magnets "ceramic". What I mean is, ceramic to me means fired clay. I know that ceramic material has been found to be a superconductor- am I on the right track.
