Title: New Nailbomb Cover ... ideas are running wild!!!!
Post by: TwilightOdyssey on April 08, 2005, 03:24:34 PM
The one in the "News" section. Has anyone seen this beauty?! WOW!!

Tim, is it possible to get other things printed on there? For example, on the Nailbomb cover for my MM, could I get TWILIGHT ODYSSEY printed on there? If so, I may do that for my next pup order.

I actually enquired about having custom screening done by Seymour Duncan, but the answer was a resounding NO ... funny how ALL of my requests to SD have been answered with that word!!

We can get anything laseretched on-custom art incurs an artwork charge but standard fonts are no trouble at all-it does look way cool 8)
It's no just distressed covers, any metal cover can be etched.

Whoa ... that's badass! (That's American for VERY VERY COOL)
If I go with a covered pup on my next order, I'm definitely gonna get that done!!

What would the custom art charge be for a band logo?

The company I use charge £25 per hour to sort original artwork into a format that can be read by the laser.
So far I've never been charged more than £25 and the results have been amazing.
I've just had the Manson logo(he's a top UK luthier)done for a set of pickups I've made for Muse guitarist Matt Belamy-they look really cool.

If it's a standard font there's no extra charge.

I think this might possibly be the first time in my life I've actually wanted covered pickups. Looks very cool!

Imagination is the only limitation-as Steve Vai once wished he'd said.

Another question about the lazer etching ...  if a black nickel cover is etched, will the resulting outline be black, or will it be silver ... LOL, as you can tell, I'm really getting into the black nickel idea!! :)

Congrats on getting on a Manson/Belamy guitar as that can only mean that your name will be associated with 'interesting' guitar sounds and will get further mention in the guitar mags.

Hmmm, now where id the artwork I had for my 'all seeing eye' tattoo as that would look good on a pickup cover

Hmmm will the Illumantus disown me for exposing myself (pardon the phrase).
