Title: Bridge pickup for Esp EC-1000
Post by: BigK on January 07, 2007, 10:42:13 PM
Hi I'm looking for some advice pickups for my esp ec-1000 (les paul copy) cause im sick of the sterile, toneless emgs in them. its your typical les paul copy guitar, mahogany body and neck with a maple top and rosewood fretboard.

At the moment im running through a podxt and a spider 3 2x12 (I know its line 6 but it it usable ill be getting an ENGL Powerball soon   ).

I mainly use this guitar for rock/metal varying from nickelback/godsmack to tool through metallica and killswitch engage. Although I attempt to play some  blues and jazzy stuff aswell (although not that much cause im not that great!).

I was thinking of warpigs (ceramic in the bridge) although im not sure how well its cleans up and how it sounds with a coil split. I have a miracleman in a schecter which I love but I think may be a little too scooped in the mids. any info/suggestions would be great. Thanks

I have myself a ec-1000 and I wouldn't say it's a les paul copy...persay. :D

It's a great guitar all on its own, but for you, i suggest cold sweats?
