Okay, well it has finally arrived. I've been quite quiet about it, but it has finally arrived.
My lovely new Blackmachine!!! It is made from one solid piece of quilted mahogany, snakewood fret board, Ceramic Warpig pickups and all the usual malarky. It is truely stunning and really doesn't come across that well in the pictures. However I have taken quite a few.
Enjoy!

Congrats! I can think of few ppl that deserve to have a fine guitar. You are a fine player!!
-
it looks a bit like you took an ibanez and put a parker neck on it. there isn't quite enough body detailing for my liking, but what matters is how it plays and sounds.
-
Congratulations, you look very proud :D
I played a Blackmachine at 2005 LGS (the baritone 8 string model) and it was really comfortable. You said one piece mahogany, even the neck? That must be a big piece of wood
-
wow i really like the guitar and that amp. the fretboard is so cool lol. is it time for some soundclips of those beasts?
-
That is a beautiful plank. Nice one!

The man or the guitar?
Nice looking guitar! I bet it sounds killer through the Powerball
-
Hurrga ... very special, cool. Woods I've never touched.
The position of the Bridge PU looks interesting, seems a bit further away from the bridge than usual? Is that because of harmonics?
The guitar and the warpigs look killer!
CLIPS !!!!!

Looks well nice, the only thing I dont like about Blackmachines is the headstock, it looks a bit weird to me. Bet she sounds beastly though :)

Looks amazing!

Thanks for all the comments guys. Much appreciated!
I have always loved BKP's, however this guitar has taken them to a new level for me. The guitar sounds fantastic unplugged. Extremely loud and the you can hear the tone of it beautifully. Then plugged in, it just rips it up. The distortion sounds so clear and tight, chord voicings come out amazingly. It also cleans up, to the extent where I don't need to use the clean channel if need be. It also has a coil switch which in position one, its humbuckers, then postion two the bridge is in humbucker neck in single coil, then the third postion both pickups are in single coil. Also with the 3 way switch, thats alot of possibilites for sounds. I will at some point do some clips. Not sure if I'll be able to do it with the Engl straight away.
Thanks again!

I don't normally like the look for 'monster' looking guitars, but I would certainly make the exception in this case.
Rob...
BTW
What sort of thickness is the body if I may be so bold to ask, as I love thinner bodied guitars (such as SGs and the Ibanez S series).
Most builders go into fat ass mode, quoting sustain and tone. Despite the fact that so many fat guitars have neither (oops cynacism)
-
That's one seriously droolworthy guitar :) Nice amp too...

The blackmachines are on the superthin side I believe, I've never actually had a shot of one, I contacted him about building me a guitar and he tried to sell me a Diezel amp like an overzealous used car salesman and I was rather put off. I do still quite fancy one though to be fair, but the money went on something else.
When are we getting clips????
-
The thickness of the guitar is around 30mms or so. Ill give a ruler for comparison when I get back home and actually get to do some clips! I can appreciate what you are saying about the Diezel amps thing, but I didnt take much notice of it. I think he was just trying to make me aware of how good the amps were. However I was there trying out some guitars through a Diezel
-
Congrats..but that is one nice amp!
-
that looks like it would kick all kinds of ass...
