Title: Are Mules alnico IV by default?

I note from the product page that Mules are available with alnico IV or alnico II magnets, yet at the BK shop there is no option for selecting the magnet type.

If a person were to order a set of Mules from the shop would they be alnico IV by default?

I asked the exact same question yesterday about Stormy Mondays.  Tim's reply was:

"I have got a lovely supply of Alnico II now and use these by default for Stormy Monday and BKP90s..............AIV is still my fav mag but the AIIs work really well in the lower wind of the SMs and in thts instance, better than AIV IMHO.Having said that I'll do AIV on request."

So I'm guessing the Mules are still AIV by default.

In any case, you can specify which you want in the "any other comments" box when ordering.

My Mules came AIV by default, my Stormy Mondays AII by default.

I am very happy with both. As Tim implied, the magnet strength/focus seems to compliment the winding in each case just perfectly.

If you want a different magnet (although I would recommend AIV for that Mule PAF tone that is so good) - state it in the special comments box.

Thanks guys.  I want Alnico IV - just wanted to check that's what I'd get.  I wasn't aware of the comments box, but I am now I've placed my order!
