?? the mule is cheaper....but the RY can.........?
-
do your housework (or housewife for that matter...).
-
The RY is more expensive because, like the Crawler, it's a "signature" pickup.
Doesn't mean it's a better - or worse - pickup than the Mule.
-
Tonally, the Mule and the RY are a bit different ....
Get the one that works best for you; don't pick by price! When you're dropping some 200 quid on a set of pickups, you might as well get the ones that do what you want them to do, whatever that is!

I don't think being a signature pickup means that it's more expensive. The Warpig is even more expensive than the RY and Crawler.

That's interesting, never noticed that before. Presumably that's because the distressed cover is standard on the WP, but it would cost £10 extra on other models.
I assumed the Crawler and RY were more expensive because Geoff W and Steve S get some kind of royalty, but who knows?

usually signatures are pricier in most cases.
how do i find which pup does me the job? i live in the us, and the only way i can hear it is through soundclips
-
well tell us the kind of stuff you like to play and what guitar you're thinking of putting the pickup in and we can help.

hmmmm my sig has gear, and
relatively contemporary gain pups. versatility ftw.
