According to this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKMYeXkYcgs&mode=related&search=), ask Tim to make you some pickups that can exceed the temperature of the sun, so that they don't melt if you play more than 4 million notes per second :D

Try to put this pickup back into your guitar and listen to that wonderful Peter-Green-out-of-phase tone...

I've never done anything with single coils before, had no idea the (in this case) white cover wasn't attatched to the actual pickup, so when I was fitting my slowhands to the scratchplate yesterday I got such a fright when I saw £59 worth of brand new, unused pickup heading for the floor with nothing but an empty cover in my hand. Didn't end up like that, though, thank God, but I was worried for a minute.

I think you better send it back to Tony Blair, he will know what to do.

LMAO

you guys are great..

no, this is not a BKP. it's an olde ibanez PWSND (that got PWND) that i had lying around.
took it apart to see how the windings are on the pup and damn.. that's some wire!.

i also found it interesting, how the same wire can be used and the winding process can make ALL the difference in the world.

Yeah, well my licks are so hot they made my pickup cover burn!

On a side note, look how much those covers aged whilst being sat in a shop window for about a year! You can see the original colour then theres the line where the pickguard was then the cream bit on top! As for the burned edges... I was just bored :?

Ha, I find it amusing that after PG did that drill stunt, he got a phone call from the guys at Makita for a sponsorship!

I once built a pup winder out of mechano and a remote controlled car.  You could always rewind it yourself.
