15 years ago or so, when someone first explained to me about Humbuckers, I got this sound into my head - a kind of warm buzz on the edge of every note that even the clean channel can't supress and which will dial all the way up to ridiculous with a touch of the volume knob.
2 SGs later (with a LP studio in between) and I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I had made this sound up and it was unatainable from guitar alone without active pups and on-board preamps &c.
But a couple of weeks ago I discovered BKP, last Friday my order arrived and last night I installed a pair of Warpigs into my SG and my quest is over. The pigs are literally INFINITY better that the stock SG pups. I no longer have to thrash the s**t out of my poor guitar to get a decent noise from it, I can suddenly play lead licks that I can hear individual notes in and all the windows in the house rattle from the bass when its going full tilt :D I'm grinning from ear to ear.
So Tim and all at BKP, I salute you!

coolness. I wanna get another one as soon as possible. One isnt enough! :D

I was a bit worried about how the neck pig would sound (too bassey?), but that neck warpig: he's one bad motherf***er make no mistake :)
I saw Metallica at Donnigton once, and Hetfield's clean tone at the start of 'One' drowned out the sound of a low flying jet ... now I can recreate that moment :D
And dial back the gain a bit and turn both pigs on at once ... when you absoluteley have to kill every last motherf****er in the room accept no substitutes
