does anyone know how good they are? £120 from wd music i need one for my project but it even has the right size inserts!!

any info would help thanx!!

the ge1996T by all (EDIT: perhaps better make that "most", just to be safe!) accounts are great. I have one, but haven't got it fitted yet (studs wrong size :( )

^ cool. Just remember, it does feel a little different to an OFR- it's more like an Ibanez edge, but slightly more ergonomic under your palm. Kind of a cross between low profile and original style.

just fitted it! i was going to put it in my project ibanez but it looked so good i had to put it on my 'best' yam, and put that trem on the project.

what can i say? you can drop the bar till the strings are hangin off and it satys perfectly in tune. i also restring with 11-48s so its hard to say if it makes a difference in the tone.

 there didnt seem to be anything wrong with the yam trem before but once removed i could see the knife edge was alredy showings signs of wear and its only 6 months old. the guitar cost £300 and im beginning to see where they cut corners! the neck and body are awesome and the finish/setup and construction sound. but i think the floyds they use are cheap. work ok for a while but wont last long!

also i think the electrics are poop coz it buzzes allot(though it could be the cr@ppy amp!!) :evil:  

so its got a wicked trem, vh11s so im gonna upgrade the pots next! :P

if i spent half as much time practising as i did fiddling with the thing id be makin hendrix look like status quo!!!
