I have loads of BKPs but i have a Strat with humbucker and two singles.
Problem is the Crawler in the bridge sounds perfect with a 500k volume pot and the tone pots disconnected, just the right amount of treble.
I have two irish tours but they are too thin sounding with the 500k pot, (sounded perfect with Tim's 300k pots). Used to have Sinner in the bridge but love the Crawler's sweet fat but agressive tone.
I have tried the Crawler with 300k pot but it is too thick.
Wondered if anyone has help ??????
Don't want to change the Crawler as I have tried Rebel Yell, Nailbomb, Miracleman and Painkiller in the 300k formet to keep the perfect irish tour tone.......HELP !

Sacrifice tones for volumes.

You could use a 500K volume pot but solder a 750KOhm resistor between each single coil (to the lugs on the switch where you soldered them) and ground. That way you'll have a 500K volume pot in the bridge position and 300K in the other positions, except middle/neck where you'll have ~215K. You'll need two 750KOhm resistors (or comination of resistors that equals 750KOhm), one for each single coil.
I've never tried this but believe it would work.

Wow, you're persistent!
Maybe you could keep the 500K and the Crawler, and change the ITs for Slowhands (or even Trilogies)? I know it's not the cheapest of solutions...

I am having the exact same problem. I got my strat loaded with a nailbomb in the bridge and two irish tours. At first I kept the 250k pots, but the nailbomb sounded way too muddy with 250k, so i decided to change the pots out to 500k. The nailbomb sounds a lot better, and the singles sounds a little thin and a little bit too much treble, but not too bad.
If I had to go back I'd would of just kept the strat S/S/S or make the start H/H...
