Post by: sgmypod on February 04, 2007, 10:52:10 PM
just fitted a Mqueen to my gordon smith seems out of phase though in middle and am getting a reading of about 4 (humbucker neck is 9 split 5, MQ is about 8)

Have you got a coil tap on it? Is that what you're using for the in-between switching?

If so, swap the wires on the tag and the back of volume pot.  I think you'll find you've got the small "non-tapped" part of the pickup tapped.

If that makes sense!

Yep - neg and live swap is the one.

My Mule is in a GS-1 and my MQ in an SG-1 - both Gordon Smiths.
