Hey guys.
Quick question:
I've always wanted Ceramic chug and Alnico cleans in the same guitar, so if I went for Miracle Man bridge/Nailbomb neck, would the mid position be screwed up from having 2 different types of magnets?
Thanx dudes :D

Cold Sweat and Miracle Man sets have different magnets in the bridge and neck position in their stock form, too. Ceramic bridge, Alnico V neck. The Nailbomb has a different voicing than the Miracle Man but I don't think that will be a problem. If you want really nice cleans from high-output pickups, though, split them (to screw coils) in the middle position. The result will be really sweet, almost heavenly. :)

That's the bridge pickup...the Cold Sweat neck is Alnico V. Matter of fact the only ceramic neck that Tim sells currently is the Painkiller.
I personally like mixing the two in the middle position. My Les Paul has an MM bridge and the CS neck, and middle position (with the volume rolled down to 7 for the MM, 8 for the CS) is great for Freddie King style blues.
I also have a custom Warpig set thats a ceramic bridge and Alnico neck. Those are in an Ibanez and I have the middle position coil tapped to give me the bridge and neck tapped simulateously...sounds great for funk chords (9th's, #9ths, etc.)

Ceramic and Alnico mix really well on the same guitar giving a true third tone. It's got a nice cluck to it and really cuts through.
Cold Sweat neck = DC8.35K Alnico V
