ZOMG it's Dom.
So, in my absence, I discovered Misfits.
Tie in the fact that I also became a fan of Neil Young, and you have my present question.
So, do you think MQs could handle metal/punkish sort of stuff?
If I have to, I'll throw in a noisegate.
Please and thank you, you guys rock.

Short answer is ... YES!

Thank God. You would've broken my heart if you'd said no.

EDIT: OH, I forgot to ask. What happened to the Manhattan HSP90? I was scrolling through the gallery and saw it, but I don't see it listed on the products page at all.

I have a MQ in the bridge of my Epiphone LP standard. I ripped out the electronics so there's only the MQ through a volume pot, and then straight to the output. I run it through a Marshall JCM900 (dual reverb) or a 50 watt JCM800 halfstack. Awsome bass response, great top end clarity and the mid-range is smooooooth. I use it for punk most of the time. Awsome for powerchords aswell as open chords. Great definition. I HIGHLY recommend it for punk or punk-rock (anything from the Pistols, too Weezer, Bad Religion, Nofx, Rancid... THE LOT!!!)
