Title: Irish Tours, USA standard Strat

Hi

I'm about to purchase a USA standard Strat, Olympic White, Maple Board.
But, i'm wanting to put some BKP's in it from the off. I play in a punky/rock band and am looking at Irish Tours,,would these go well with a maple board strat anyone?

I s'pose my main concern is will distortion sound good, chords more than licks..in the bridge position?

Sorry to keep asking questions, but research needs to be done..
I'm going to use a Jcm800 2x12 also

The short answer is yes; I have an IT in the neck position of an all-maple guitar and I love it.
