this is actually done with the agile with gibson bridge pickup but im thinking i want to get closer to the actual sound so i think im gonna go for a holy diver
let me know what you think
-
I'm not going to vote but i strongly suggest a Holy Diver, i think it would be great for that guitar and that sound.
There's not much life in the sound coming from it now, it needs something to set it alive and a Holy Diver being a fat mother$%er will do it.

yeah this pickup is a bit lifeless aint it
and gibson pickups are meant to be good pfftt

basic tone is there but no harmonic content, very flat and lacking width and air in the tone.
BKP's are deffinatly the most transiant and harmonical rich pickups i've heard, but that isnt always whats needed.
That pickup has room for improvement.

As the guy pictured as vai said, it lacks rich harmonics! but the playing is ok.
Bare Knuckle pickups have a much more complex tone, it's hard to describe in a word but I'd say they're less muddy, more defined and a lot beefier sounding.
I've not heard one BKP that sounds bad yet!

i already know how good BKPs are i own a miracle man :D

Moved to Time Out because not a clip with a BKP in it.
