I needed an Abraxis neck pickup asap for a recording session. Spoke to Chris over at BK. Awesome guy, helpful in the extreme, and he put in the extra effort to get me the pup in a clutch situation!
So, kudos & hails to Chris @ Bare Knuckle!!!![/b]

I so totally look forward to hearing the outcome of that. :) I love the vibe from the Abraxas/Crawler neck pup, and, well, I've noticed from time to time that TO can play a bit. 8)

Let's all cheer for Ben and his recording session, I'm sure he will put up some clips of the finish product. Cheers!

@ Carlaz ... actually, the neck pup is for the other guitarist in TO, Jimmy. I don't really use neck humbuckers. Jimmy loves the Abraxis neck! (He has a Painkiller in the neck position at the moment; bridge pup is a Cold Sweat)
@ broken cord ... thanx! Yes, there will be clips after final mix.
We are tracking 3 new songs at Spin Music Studios, the same place that TSO and Savatage have been using the past few years. Our engineer/producer for the new stuff is Charlie Dos Santos. Charlie mixed our debut album, is a Grammy-winning engineer, and has worked on tons of projects including Riot's Live In Japan.

Wow, I've always loved the production/mixing of all TSO albums
but I quess it costs pretty damn much to record in there?

^ Kepu ... yes. PDT_008. You get what you pay for, however. And if this demo does 1/2 as well as I'm hoping, it will be well worth the expense.

Oh, well, I reckon he can play as well. :) He's d@mn right to like that pup! 8)
Should go well with the CS, now that I think about it ....

I don't think so, Ratty, but I'll tell him to check out the forum next time I call.
