OK, after some help!
I am fitting some MQs to my PRS instead of the humbuckers.
They arrived to day, only have a black wire and some shielding!
I am used to humbucker wiring, so am after some assistance!
So my question is, how would you suggest I wire these in, I guess mine are not coil tapped, so a simple bridge, neck or both combo would be in order (can they both be used as one big humbucker?)
Or should I send em back and get them tapped - not that bothered cos I use my Strat for cleans though. (and I want to fire them up ASAP!)
Maybe I should buy a std 3 way switch?!
Questions!
Cheers,
Steve

Wiring two MQ's in series will give you a very muddy and bassy sound. I'd either use a 3-way switch or keep the 5-way and have silent positions (kill switch). :)

Cool!
thanks for the info.
They are now in, PRS 5 way switch is a crazy piece of kit!
But Positions 1 & 2 are now bridge, 3 is kill switch!, and 4 & 5 neck.
Now, I have only fired up to test with one string, but wow! seriously nice fat clear tones, very powerfull, my Matamp 1224 mk6 sounds amazing!
Without any tweaking or pedals I am getting a very cool QOTSA/Josh Homme sound.
Love it!
MQs - clear, powerful, no harshness or clanky tones!
Cheers!
Played on one string for far too long ;)

be careful with the killswitch if your playing loud, its a great way to blow a speaker
