I've been looking at DFH products and I'm wondering:
Is DFH superior worth the extra cash and 40Gb of space over EZdrummers more reasonable tag and 8Gb or whatever it is? (I'll be pushed for 40Gb and have to back up a load of stuff I keep round and cant really be arsed, especially if I have to pay 60 quid or so for the privelage)
Is EZ drummer good enough for mere mortals?
I'm a n00b but rather ambitious about the results I want eventually (i.e ASAP!), but theres no need for overkill. Said results will be of the manic metal variety at their most complex. Huge sound is essential.
Can anyone tell me if I'll be satisfied with EZ or if I'll find superior more usefull?
Yes, I'm trying to convince myself that EZ drummer will do!

Cheers man
I have SX3 and sonar LE. Should suffice, no?

I use DFH as a plug in for Sonar 3 Producer ... it sounds great and is pretty flawless!!

I have DFH EZ Drummer and the Drum Kit From Hell add-on for EZ and they're amazing. I also have Custom & Vintage by DFH ( a 40 gig deal like Superior) which sounds absolutely stunning. EZ Drummer is a bit faster to work with since it has all those loops for you to use. You can put songs together very quickly.
Here's a track I put together with EZ Drummer loops then used the midi from that with the sounds from Custom & Vintage.

I added one onto that sounclick page called Drum Metal. It uses the EZ Drummer Drumkit From Hell add-on only.
