Eminence has put clips of most of their speakers being played by the smae guy with the same amp and guitar on their website.

It's good to see Eminence providing decent quality soundclips to help make choosing speakers easier.
Personally I really liked the Swamp Thangs and Tonkers. YMMV

Sounds cool, i know nothing about speakers though, all that i know is that i want Celestion V30's, but if they are cheaper then i might go Eminence. What is the Eminence equivalent to a V30?

Just ordered myself another Cannabis Rex, 16ohm, great speakers.
It will go in my Carlsbro 50top combo.
My last one was in a Park 1273 20 watt combo, that was a stunning sound. The C-rex is a very efficient speaker and throws it sound out very well.

I am a big fan of these new Eminence speakers. They are by no means inferior to Celestions, eventhough they are cheaper. Note that they are not so much cheaper in the US as they are in Europe, BTW. Celestions simply seem to be overpriced in Europe for some reason. Probably cause those greedy Chinese workers demand such high wages from Celestion in comparison to the Eminence folks in Kentucky.
Whatever.
I have the Governor, the Cannabis Rex and the Black Powder as well as a 4x12" with Cel V30s and I had a Cel G12t75 which I sold. I kind of used to tonker around with the speaker in my amps/cabs, but at the moment I play my small Marshall with the Governor mostly.

Not a fan of Eminence myself, but that's not the point of this thread.
I agree with the thought of speaker manufacturers providing sound clips, and wish more manufacturers would follow suit! (Well, does Celestion really need to have clips at this point? PDT_008)
