Hello i want to order the Black Dogs after lots of consideration and i wanted to know if it is best for bridge and neck or just ? i have a duncan set right now.

The current "Products" only lists stats for the bridge version of the Black Dog, but if you order the "calibrated set", you get a neck pickup designed to accompany the bridge pickup.  Another way of looking at this is: there's a "bridge BD" listed on the Products page, and a "neck BD" that's not.  Usually it makes sense to order the calibrated set, but people do sometimes mix and match or order just one.

I just ordered a black dog neck and holy diver bridge under the recommendations of Tim. Its not listed on the the products page but when you check out you can select which position you would like it in.

Bridge and neck versions have different specs but only the bridge specs are listed on the website... [new website anyone? ;)] If you do a search on this forum, you'll find a lot of information about both bridge and neck models.

By the way, the descriptions on the BKP site do make a lot of sense but usually only after you've tried or heard the sound of the pickup. Before I bought my Nailbomb, I was like WTF? chaos in a pickup? :? After installing the Nailbomb it was like YEAHHHH!!!! CHAOS IN A PICKUP!!!!!! :twisted: :lol:
