I tried to replace the cr@ppy tuners that came on a Yamaha guitar that I purchased off ebay. So I ordered some Yamaha tuners thinking they would fit, but when they arrived I realized the screw hole is exactly verticle to the tuner itself. Whereas on my guitars headstock it has a weird side screw mount. Not Sperzel and not Grover, I dont think. So my question is, is anyone familiar with this style? does it have a name, and can you tell me where I can get some new tuners that will fit? thanks
here are some pictures I took of the headstock:

So you can see where the screwmount is to the side of the tuner instead of underneath it.

There aren't many types of tuners that have the screw tab (or whatever you call it) at right-angles to the tuner body like that. If the tuners are mini-sized like you'd find on a Fender, Grover Minis might fit:

If they're larger, you could try Schallers:

Or you could just plug the screw holes and fit a set of Sperzels or something!

Is it an SG?
If so, Grovers will fit into the tuner holes but you'll have to drill new holes for the screws.
Here's mine:
