Title: Which guitar should i go for???
Post by: MrPring on March 07, 2007, 12:15:31 PM: Ok guys i have an Alder bodied usa standard strat. This is the closest i could get the colour but in reality it is an amazing blue/green metallic colour.
It has an EMG 81 in the bridge which im gonna change.
Which do you guys think looks the best. I have no preference at the moment!

Post by: LazyNinja on March 07, 2007, 01:02:15 PM: I dont think any of them looks good so I didnt vote. Out of those I think the EMG looked the best tbh. I'd go for uncovered or black/camo covers instead.

That gives you serious issues with combining active and passive pickups.

I would go for black covers!

i like the look of the black covered 'bucker but the VHII should be open

Although i am now thinking of putting a set of apaches in and putting a calibrated VHII set in my parts-caster soon to be built.
