I know this is wrong but would a MQ bridge sound cr@p as a neck
-
Presumably the bridge model has more windings than the neck model, so it would sound darker. I suppose it could be a little muddy, but it should still have some single-coil clarity.
I think it would be OK if you like a fat/warm neck pickup sound - halfway between an MQ neck and a Pig-90. And it might be a good match for a hot bridge humbucker.

cool am thinkin of putting it the neck on my graduat slimline..and maybe a nailbomb in bridge...swap time again
-
Sounds like an interesting combination! :D It must be worth trying, you can always swap again if it doesn't work.
-
yeah play mix and match every now and then...best one was sg with crawler neck and warpig bridge
-
yu might even be able to swap the bridge MQ for a neck one if you ask Tim nicely, and maybe pay a lil fee for the trouble? worth a shot
