Title: Mq bridge swap

I know this is wrong but would a MQ bridge sound cr@p as a neck

Presumably the bridge model has more windings than the neck model, so it would sound darker.  I suppose it could be a little muddy, but it should still have some single-coil clarity.  

I think it would be OK if you like a fat/warm neck pickup sound - halfway between an MQ neck and a Pig-90.  And it might be a good match for a hot bridge humbucker.

cool am thinkin of putting it the neck on my graduat slimline..and maybe a nailbomb in bridge...swap time again

Sounds like an interesting combination!   :D  It must be worth trying, you can always swap again if it doesn't work.

yeah play mix and match every now and then...best one was sg with crawler neck and warpig bridge

yu might even be able to swap the bridge MQ for a neck one if you ask Tim nicely, and maybe pay a lil fee for the trouble? worth a shot
