When I got to the first picture (without bothering to read the text) I thought WTF, he's building a Strat with a door for the body?

I guess someone's now supposed to say why didn't he use BKPs instead of Kinmans?   :roll:

That is bloody awful. It didnt even get painted at the end after all that trouble. If it's gonna be done it's gotta be done properly like this one. I think this looks really beautiful. Check out ESP Artist page there's loads of strange stuff on there http://www.espguitars.co.jp/artist/index.html

That is just SO fugly. I heartily admire the craftmanship that went into it but dayumn, what a complete waste of some serious parts.

I think it's a stunning piece of carpentry. And truly admire him.

Not something I'd play, but I think it's flawless, and would gasp if I saw it in a shop.

Hmm, very clever, and a nice piece of craftsmanship, that Juliet guitar, but I wouldn't be seen dead with it. Must weigh a fair whack too.

Also, where the hell do you find a case for that??  :wink:

Did anyone look at the rest of Romeo Rose's site?  There are pictures of him with the Juliet guitar.  It looks pretty ungainly, even though he's about 7 feet tall!

OK I admire the effort and the carving but on grounds of taste I have to say it leaves something to be desired. also is it me or do the dinished photos make the guitar look like it's made of cheese ?

Yeah, I'm impressed by the fact that he could carve all that, but it's a nasty, nasty guitar.  And rather sad.

I like Romeo and Juliet as well, but I don't take it to that kind of extreme. :D
