Oh..My GOD!!!
I want that Soltero, seriously though is it a USA made one, because i can't find normal Soltero's anywhere.
That just looks so cool.
-
just a slightly off-topic comment ; "soltero" in Spanish means "single" as in "not married".... LOL.
-
I just exploded.
Was it good for you too?

Yep, that's a U.S. Soltero.
Actually all of the Solteros are U.S. except for the one Japanese prototype that's at Dean headquarters. Currently only 28 Solteros have been produced.
Dean used to make a guitar called an 'Evo' that looks similar to a Soltero.

Looks hot..!
How do you like the Rebel Yells?

They are AMAZING!
The low end definition I'm getting from the guitar and Rebel Yells is incredible.
I recorded a clip of some chords and gallups. It's not really mixed or anything, so the sound quality is nothing amazing. But listen to the definition on the low notes. Each note in the gallup is punchy and clear.

It sounds as good as it looks. Awesome.

I have no problem getting nice punch and low end definition on a studio recording. There's multiple microphones involved, compression, nice e.q., etc. But I'm not used to getting that kind of low end definition instantly just by plugging the guitar straight into the amp.
I keep the e.q. flat on my amp for practicing. I plugged the guitar in to practice yesterday and said 'Woah! I need to record some of this'.
That sound clip is just 1 mic in front of my cabinet. It's recorded through my little mixing board. Then I did another track for the other side. Nothing fancy.

These guitars rock. I really dig the design. Did you find it here in the UK or you had to have it shipped from the USA?

I'm actually in the U.S., so I bought it here.

The Soltero SL is made in Japan and should be out in about 2 months. I played the prototype at Dean Headquarters and it was amazing.
It won't cheap though. It has the workmanship of the high end ESP and Ibanez guitars. Price is going to be around $2,000.

Ouch! That's bank busting, might have to settle for something else then.
-
that tone could take heads off!!!!!!! well done, and congratulations on the guitar and pickups!
