they're only like £20 or something, true bypass and sound GREAT.
If you can stretch to £50 yu can get a little Big Muff.

wow, that looks awesome! simple as hell too.

have you tried one? the MP3 doesn't work

it also says that it is a short decay fuzz....... what does that mean?

hmmm - effector 13 seem to have discontinued the pedal for some reason; thats why the mp3 link doesnt work. You'll just have to take my word for it that it sounded awesome. A real smooth and natural sounding fuzz.
GNT pedals still have it in stock for £22.
No idea what short decay means - i'm not up on my fuzzes unfortunately

You can try putting a Smokey between your guitar and amp. It's the craziest soak/fuzz you've ever heard.

Funny you should say that - I just dug the French Toast out of the pedal pit at the back of my room and had a go through my Fender Blues Junior (set up for clean guitar) - wow! - I hate this pedal, but through the BJ and a strat middle pickup it sounds like Led Zepplin 1

Even better was the Black Coffee metal distortion - it sounded like some hotrodded death metal machine, not a springy fender.

+1 on the French Toast (I have one in sitting in work here ready to be packed up for Dakine).

Provided you turn the EQ * Dist controls down it's pretty normal (through a valve amp). It will do wierd shite if you want it to, just max the controls & hit the octave switch. Through a SS amp it can get really silly (depending on the amp)

It's the same as the Foxx Tone Machine (apparently the designer of the original is/was the pedal designer for Danelectro), though theres a little less control of the tone.

If it's good enough for Adrian Belew & Billy Gibbons it's fine for me ;)

Infact all the Danelectro distortion are pretty good (especially for the money)

Rob...

Distortion if you play into it.

Fuzz if you play through it.
